A big city like Boston turned down such a proposal....and our own Gina Raimondo would not apporove such a proposal for her fine city of Providence.....but now that proposal is in our backyard....a proposal which is certain to pollute our air and water....would anybody in big business or big government want to have your children play, swim and breath in such a backyard!!!

Experiment! Didn't they say something about that they had no idea when our water was polluted with MTBE that they had no idea concerning the long term health effects of drinking that tainted water back about 10 years ago. I remember.

That MTBE is not something we should be experimenting with in our air and water. The company itself admits that this is experimental, never been done before and that there will be some MTBE still in the water at the time of use, day after day after day. It will go into the air, it will flush into Clear River then on into Blackstone River. This alone should be enough to shut down this project.
This is not the direction we should be headed in in RI. We are in a shameful condition as it is with so much in our state, furthering our reliance on dirty electricity is not what we should be investing in. People are leaving our state, this will further that! I know it 100% will for me and my family. 100%.

This Power Plant will severely impact my life. Views from my house, using my water table, contaminating my air and lowering my property value. If NE really needs power, let's consider putting a solar farm in the same place!
