This plant will destroy and pollute not only a town, but many bodies of water, reservations and wildlife hunting grounds that our community use daily! The size of the plant should be put in an area were so many people and things will be affected.

I lived in Pascoag for over 12 yrs before being forced out of my home due to the MTBE contamination. We moved to nearby CT. We still have family in RI. This should NOT happen. We were exposed to this chemical once and now its possible again. We do not know the effects this will have on us in the future. My husband lost the skin on his lip, my daughter was born with a kidney problem and we were insulted with a 400 check from exxon mobile. Do not make this mistake.

While their is a demand for energy. Rhode Island has the opportunity to become a leader in alternative renewable energy. Why build a gas plant when solar and wing plants cab be just as effective without harming the environment.
