It looks like a war zone! All our oaks, the forest behind us, the ravine across the street all totally defoliated. White oak, pine, spruce, all completely gone!!! We did everything, scraped the eggs last fall, put the tanglefoot on the tree, sprayed as high as we could with BTK...all useless. This is an invasion!!!!

My yard is totally infested, our trees are either completely bare or will be within another week. The same goes for all my neighbors. No one is going outside. Bernard Long Road has them really bad.

Our street has been decimated, the worms have eaten their way through the oaks, pines, spruce and have just about cleared out the ornamentals

We are on schriver rd and they are destroying everything. We moved here in jan and I was so happy to have a few unique trees on our property but the 1000s of ceterpillar are stripping the trees and are eating the flowers and shrubs. They are everywhere, it's not enjoyable to even sit outside.

The caterpillars are eating everything, oak, walnut, pine, spruce, maple, poplar and all other kinds of trees and shrubs. Many trees are stripped completely of their leaves.

Please set up a budget to help us next year with spraying, if it’s too late for this year. I am exhausted trying to cope.

We are all God's little creatures, but kill them anyway. God will sort out the little buggers in bug heaven.

A spraying program is desperately needed to get rid of these pesky critters.

It is no longer what is not being done, it is why something is not being done. We are in an environmental crisis here and around the world and one of the key things we all must do is plant trees. Why not save the trees we have and then start planting when the threat of Gypsy Moth is not a concern for new and old growth.

PLEASE HELP. We need real leadership from city council to have the aerial spraying done in the spring. It is difficult to believe unless you see it. This is not a minor inconvenience; it is a nightmare. Councillors, if you have not yet done so, please visit these hard-hit areas and look at what is happening.
Exhausted & completely demoralized.
