All our trees are stripped. We can't enjoy the outside and the kids are dealing with painful rashes. Quinte West council ignored landowners' complaints last year. Please solve this problem asap.

Something must be done in preparation for the summer of 2022, to avoid total destruction. I live in Batawa, they are impossible to control, eating Birch, Maple, ornamental, other tree shrubs, old growth trees, cedars, Alberta spruce, etc, my perennials, flowers...succulents (hens & chicks)...you name it, next year at this rate we will have nothing left.

Virtually every tree (including pines) has been completely defoliated on my property. This is beyond what individuals or groups of private landowners can manage. Please help us City of Quinte West!

The infestation has become much more noticeable in the area and everywhere else also. Do something. We need to at least try to control these damn crawlies.

White Oak Court and Airport Rd Quinte West complete devastation of trees in this area. Aerial spraying is requested to prevent total loss of trees in 2022.

This is horrible. Something has to be done. It would be terrible to lose all our beautiful trees.

Action is now overdue-I cannot believe the devastation this caterpillar has caused.

This is beyond frustrating & sad! So many of our trees are going to die from something that should have been looked after. There needs to be an aerial spray! Despite all our efforts like having to have our house sprayed we can't control them. Disgusting that we can't sit outside or even go for a walk , something we look forward to after a long winter. Come on Northumberland....do something , we pay taxes for a reason!!

White Oak Court in Quinte West was severely impacted by a major gypsy moth infestation in May 2021. It looks like a war zone! This could be your property next year if nothing is done by the municipality.

I live just north of Frankford and ALL trees have been affected including evergreens, the caterpillars are everywhere! All over our house, we can’t enjoy our backyard. It is sad we weren’t warned about the potential infestation and that nothing was done to stop it.

Get this sorted out city hall. It's bad enough our city is run by corrupt staff who don't allow any growth from outside to come in. Now the people are demanding for an infestation to be taken care of and still you won't help. Stop ensuring the few main family names in this area are taken care of and help everyone. Remember your in power not for yourself but to represent the people of this community. If its too much work step down and let new people in who will listen and push thus beautiful city to better times.
