I HAVE BEEN SPENDING MY TIME CALLING THE PARKS DEPARTMENT TO DEMAND A REAL DEDICATED SPACE FOR OUR RUGBY TEAMS!! THE ENERGY AROUND THIS IS ABSOLUTELY ELECTRIC AND THEY CANNOT IGNORE US MUCH LONGER!! STAY TUNED BECAUSE WE ARE PUSHING HARD FOR THOSE PERMANENT POSTS AND LIGHTS!!!

THIS MOMENTUM IS ABSOLUTELY ELECTRIC AND PROVES WE ARE READY FOR A DEDICATED RUGBY PITCH IN GWINNETT COUNTY!! THE VISION OF SEEING PERMANENT POSTS AND LIGHTS AT OUR OWN FIELD IS BECOMING A REALITY BECAUSE OF YOUR UNREAL ENERGY!!

Great sport! My Marine son played for Gwinnett County 4 years ago when he was in high school and he still talks about it.
There are plenty of baseball fields that are unused a majority of the year. Rugby is year round (and higher fitness too)
Cobb County has dedicated pitch time on multiple fields at Noonday Park in Kennesaw. Why doesn't Gwinnett consider adding a dedicated pitch, or reasonable access to a pitch to grow the world's number 2 participation sport. Rugby will be part of the Olympics in 2016, and Kennesaw will host the International Women's Rugby Sevens tournament (ALL of the world's top teams) at their beautiful stadium at KSU.
Rugby is probabably the largest international sport behind soccer. Rugby returns to the Olympics in 2016 and should be seeing some of the same local growth that soccer received in the 80's. I think it will be great to pro actively have a field ready. Robert McGraw
With the growing rugby community in the area it would only make sense to have a full time pitch. Sports clubs and teams provide a means to bring communities and families together, having a full time pitch for this underrepresented sport would continue to encourage that.
