Trained Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners (SANE's) must use rape kits to collect evidence after sexual assault in order to use this evidence in court and create official records of the incident. Currently, SANE's are only employed by Washington Hospital Center. This petition aims to get a SANE at George Washington University Hospital so that students and community members can report sexual assault and promote safety.
