I've been playing GW2 for years, and there have always been Brazilian players in the game. I think its design is very friendly to all types of players, especially those who don't have a lot of free time. I would even argue that the game would be extremely well received not only in Brazil but also in many other countries if it were available in their native languages.
It's obvious that GW2 doesn't have a larger Brazilian player base because it still lacks a Brazilian Portuguese translation, which discourages many players from even trying the game. GW2 was released at a time when localization into multiple languages was still far less common and developed than it is today, so the lack of a Portuguese translation back then was understandable. However, in 2026, not even considering a Portuguese localization feels increasingly neglectful toward a large potential audience.
Even indie games today are often released with support for multiple languages. At the very least, GW3 should launch with even broader language support than what has been offered in previous titles.

Não precisa nem de servidor SA, mas uma tradução pelo menos seria o mínimo, o GW2 eu amo mas não consigo chamar nenhum amigo pra jogar, só por causa da tradução.
