I think a Guiseley Town Council is a very good idea & will get local peoples voices heard.

Town and parish councils can make a real difference, and given all the expected changes in the area, Guiseley needs one.

As there are only 11 signatures to date people obviously aren't bothered or do not realise that a town council could be a good thing for our area.

My only concern is regarding the individuals elected to stand as councillors do not use the position for their own kudos and genuinely want to do the right thing by their community.

Bad roads/too many homes built on green belt/use of existing buildings need upgrading along the high street/Springfield road development are they using the studed stones to build the new properties? in keeping with the area will access be made into Springfield park from the new complex?
