Due to the increased security at Neopets to prevent malicious people from gaining access to the accounts of other people Neopets has now effected a policy of no linking outside of Neopets from anywhere within Neopets. This includes Pet pages, shops and Guilds. While it can be understood for the first two, removing this option for guilds is unfair. Alot of guilds have created websites to support their guild activities. With this new security on Neopets behalf, these websites might as well not exist. Alot of them offer help with various games as well as tips on other Neopets subjects. Guilds can no longer have a clickable link to their own sites. Some of these guilds even use Flashbuttons from Flashbuttons.com to make their guilds look more presentable. With the new security, the money spent to get the professional looking flash buttons is also wasted. I simply propose that Neopets do the following: 1. Return the linking and flashbuttons to the guilds. 2. Put in a \"Report This Guild\" link that works like the \"Report This Shop\". That way if there is a problem, the guild can be reported and Neopets can check into it. The only required information on this petition is your Neopets username. This is not a means to get your account. I have no interest in that and can honestly get your username from anywhere on the Neopets site. I do ask that you also fill in the Guild with the name of your guild and pass this information along to everyone in your guild specifically your guild\'s council.
