This issue needs rectifying asap! This is the safety of many children and it is not acceptable to not have in place immediate cover for any situation.

This is such a busy road. 2 schools either side of it. Children need the assistance to help them cross. This is madness to revoke a crossing person.

Ridiculous to expect kids, parents with prams etc to cross without help at rush hour. How long untill an accident happens. The zebra is not practical or safe either as cars go too fast.

I cannot believe that a petition is necessary to replace such an essential service.

Who will be held responsible if a child is hurt or worse is killed.

It is really dangerous for the children of both the infant and junior schools to cross the main road without the lollipop lady. I’ve witnessed a couple of near misses and it’s just an accident waiting to happen!

It is a dangerous spot for kids to cross and it is vital that a lollipop person cover this spot at school times.

Mother of 2 sons who attend Mengham school. Totally unacceptable not not have a lollipop person on this crossing...extremely busy..will only be a matter of time before a tragic accident occurs

2 crossing patrol staff at Mill Rythe School and none at Mengham seems ludicrous.

This is so important - the traffic can be so fast and unpredictable at this area so a crossing patrol is so important
