I understand it’s the parents responsibility to get their child to school safely, but isn’t it also the councils too so that the parent can carry out this task safely?

The cost of serious injury to a young child is enormous, care costs alone for a disabled child would pay many lollipop lady/gentlemen for decades. Then add in trauma, lost revenue... the list is endless come on HCC get a grip.

Not a statutory requirement but surely a necessary requirement on a main road!

We need a lollipop man or lady on the road between these two school sites!

This is HUGELY important for our community and many other similar communities everywhere. Kids should be free of council cut backs.
