players should not be punished for this understandable mistake and their record should be restored so they can compete in the playoffs. The organization can be disciplined in other ways.

All bureaucracy, with absolutely no impact on game results!! So wrong! Suspension of coach or club officials would make sense but to penalize the players is absolutely awful.

Why punish the kids. Fine the organization for not ensuring all of their registered teams with the GTHL are compliant with all documentation submission

Another abuse of power and having the kids suffer at the hands of a 'trusted' organization.

This is terrible practice GTHL. You do not punish the kids for a clerical error.

It could be one thing to penalize a few games due to an unfortunate and evidently unintentional error, but to retroactively impose a large penalty on an item that didn’t affect game results seems terribly unfair and could have been rectified sooner if noticed. Makes one wonder why it was never discovered for this long. These youths exhibit what is a good about youth being involved in sport and a harsh penalty such as this could have very negative results for these teens. Please consider the error, the lack of intent, and the negative impact on the boys.

When you can't see past a rule and see the situation, you know the bureaucracy has become too much. When will the league employ common sense over letter of the law?
