This seems really unfair to the kids! I hope common sense prevails

Kids shouldn’t suffer, period. They did their job and did it well. Those responsible should be held accountable. Do the right thing and overturn this decision.

A trainer has no outcome to any game and a clinical error should not result in a bunch of kids being forced to forfeit basically a season because of a clinical error

I don't think 16 year olds should be punished for the mistake of the adult staff members.

The kids should not suffer due to the coaches lack of creditation. Rediculous!

Not the players fault, they should not suffer the consequences of someone else’s fault

The organization should be disciplined by way of a fine, but the players who worked hard shouldn't be punished.

This error should have been caught sooner by the person for the GTHL that reviews the team applications!! There seems to be more to it, maybe the team that the GTHL wasn’t going to make the playoffs and this is way GTHL is get their team of choice , also if the trainer in question has been accepted as a trainer in the past , why is it a problem now?? Why was the punishment so severe after the appeal was filed!!! It’s my understanding this was the #1 team for the playoffs!!! Shame on the GTHL for threatening the team with a more severe suspension just for this team appealing the GTHL Decision !!!!

Kids get into sports to build community, make life long friends, challenge themselves and HAVE FUN
Why ruin their experience over a few signatures.
14 Defaults are EXCESSIVE for that mistake.
Being someone that played ice sports my entire childhood into Adulthood.
I would have been devastated if that happened.

As a former coach and Manager, honest paperwork mistakes happen on both sides. I have personally been involved in a GTHL paperwork error. It happens and there is no need to punish the players!!

As a hockey parent from USA, I understand that mistakes happen, especially at larger organizations that run on an almost completely volunteer-staffed base. Please keep kids, especially teenagers, out of bureaucratic chaos. Those boys fought so hard to get where they are right now. To strip them off their hard earned victories is going to be such a devastating blow to their spirit.
