This omission with the paperwork did not ever put kids in harm and the punishment of this magnitude is unwarranted.

Having played in the MTHL and actually representing them in the all Ontario championships, I am embarrassed to say I was part of this organization. Until Hockey Canada gets their heads out of the sand and start concentrating back to grass root hockey and the fun of the game the way it was, management and power hungry males will dictate the fun and excitement all our kids are entitled. To have a piece of paperwork decide the season for kids, who get up at some times 5:00 am in the morning it’s disgusting and to have their season defined my some testosterone male management is a disgrace and needs to be dealt with.

Players should not be penalized for mistakes that did not affect the outcome of the game.
