The GTHL bends rules for the benefits of their own agendas, it's corrupt and needs an overhauling with its Executive. This is an extremely poor and hurtful decision on their part.

They are kids at the end of the day. No crime was committed here. Let them play!

Don't penalize the kids for an honest mistake. Find a different way to penalize the team without taking away from their accomplishments

Let penalty should be on the coach and training not the kids, they are innocent in this.

Kids shouldn't have to pay for mistakes adults make. Let them play! They should not be stripped of wins they rightfully earned!

Please do not punish these kids for a clerical error. This was not their fault. This will impact them tremendously. Absolutely heartbreaking for these players! I can’t even imagine how upset and stressed they must be.

Refer to Code of Conduct #2 that includes directors and officers. a) shall conduct themselves, at all times, in a fair and responsible manner and refrain from comments or behaviours that are disrespectful, offensive, abusive, racist or sexist. In particular, the GTHL will not tolerate behaviour that constitutes harassment or abuse or bullying I see a number of items above they have disregarded. Not fair, abusive and abuse of power to the hockey players are 3 shout outs. to Emotional abuse big time. Shame on these adults in power to enforce such HARSH PUNISHMENT! Its not to late to show these players what fairness really is instead of enforcing it's time to rethink this. What will they learn from this compared to what they'll learn if you change it. I know, the learning will be far greater with change. Please change this and then revisit your policies. They're way out of line and I can't believe the directors can't see this.

This is just sad to hear. Just a technicality that wont teach the kids anything except to be jaded and angry over something they are powerless to control. the GTHL is not using reason and critical thinking in this situation, just blanket policy and being punitive. People like this don't need to be running a hockey league and making decisions for everyone else. Go and ruin your own kids.

This is a very sad moment for youth sport. As a parent of a player on another team in this division, I am hopeful that the boys on this team will have the opportunity to keep playing hockey and that a solution can be found that is in all parties best interest.

Punishing kids for the mistakes of adults defeats the purpose of kids playing hockey/ team sports.
Let em play!
It's a disgrace to the league.
Let them play!
