This is actually absurd. Someone needs to sue this organization immediately, and those losses should be turned to automatic wins for the games that they have currently lost and then continue on playing.

These kids should not be punished for an administrative mistake by the coahces.

Don’t penalize the kids. This trainer was behind the bench of other teams in the same league. This ruling is wrong - reverse it now. Thank you.

Let the kids play they earned it

As a sportsman myself I hope the team is not punished .. the team deserves all our support during this difficult time .

Put the kids first, an admin error shouldn’t affect their effort they have put into this season all year.

Help teach these kids that doing the right thing and correcting action has consequences that are representative of the mistake BUT are fair. This is PUNITIVE and serves no one other that teaching kids that owning to an honest mistake is more damaging than anything. If the club must be penalized according to bylaws then change the bylaws, make an amendment and take corrective a ruin going forward for the club BUT DO NOT DISCREDIT everything these boys have worked so hard to accomplish. This is completely inappropriate and reflects so poorly on the governing organization of hockey.

Take it out on the organization and ownership, not the kids.

Why punish the kids for something THEY didn't do. Instead, why not look at how to prevent clerical errors going forward.

This ruling is unfair and goes against all the values the great game of hockey represents. The people behind this decision should be ashamed of themselves. They are choosing to enforce a severe penalty on these players without justification. The fact that there have been different rulings handed out demonstrates the people making these decisions aren't qualified to be making them.
