The Gulfport School District wants us to vote for a $41 million bond issue to allow demolition and rebuild of portions of Gulfport High School and, perhaps, some classroom additions to some elementary schools.

The GSD board of trustees are appointed. They appoint the school superintendent. None are accountable to the public!

We will be voting NO on May 27 until the citizens of Gulfport are afforded better, direct representation in the school district board and administration.

Why are we giving them more money when we dont get a say in who runs the show?? Fix the way the board is picked first.

Enough with these massive bonds. They waste our tax dollars like it grows on trees. No accountability means no vote from me.
