I drive through this intersection every day and people FLY through and do not obey the 35 mph speed limit especially coming over the slight hill! This intersection needs a traffic light!
This intersection has been dangerously under-marked since i was a kid in in YS... and i graduated YSHS in 1983. A traffic light is long overdue. The life you save may be uour own, or someone you love. Please stop the politics and use common sense here. Respect thosr who perished at this spot. Thank you!
I'm a local resident and also a local mechanical engineer here in Greene county. I would appreciate any and all considerations to implementing a more appropriate system to keep our local residents here in Greene county safe.
This is my daily commute route, I always cringe going through it no matter which way I am passing through the intersection. There is not enough lead time for people who are coming over the hill (usually at 55+ mph) to see the signs, lights...a light should be mounted so that it is visible from the crest of the hill.
My niece died this summer at that dangerous intersection. I have been to that intersection and I feel it is a very dangerous one. Please put up a light at that intersection so no one else will suffer this kind of loss.

I live on Grinnell Road, and I've seen scores of serious collisions at this intersection, including my own !!! The flashing light made it worse because they added a pole which served to create an even Bigger BLIND SPOT! Somebody DO SOMETHING!
