The logistics of transporting student, the proximity and neighborhood access are all reason for the change.

This neighborhood is miles away from the currently appointed schools. This will be a detriment to the students as they will have to leave home so much earlier to get into Shady Hollow which is OVERLY congested with Hays Co traffic.

Please consider the rezoning of our schools for our children. Parents will be allowed to be more present in our schools as needed if we are closer. Thank you for your understanding.

We were one of the first families to move into this community. Absolutely love the community and neighbors. The pain being school. i have a 8 year old going to grade 3 in Baranoff. Over 3 years, it has become very painful to pick and drop my son so bus is the only option. We are unable to participate in any school activities due to the travel distance and my son is unable to do much out of school activities after school as he is too tired to even complete his homework. Request you to zone this school to Clayton Elementary.

It's very unfair for all of the children in this Greyrock ridge subdivision to not be zoned to Clayton Elementary. It's 5 minutes away. All of the kids friends go there and are in the Circle C area. Baranoff is much too far and too much traffic to be fair to these children. Please move this subdivision to Clayton Elementary as it should have been from the start. No parent would ever want their kid to have to spend 3 times longer getting to and from school than other kids right down the street.

I just moved here from CA too and there was a school right across the street from my old house. I google mapped this school from our new home here in Austin it was only and inch away according to google. 30 minute drive is utterly ridiculous and its putting me in danger every time I leave the house. I can't believe they would build a subdivision so far from a school. Who planned this neighborhood? Why didn't they physically show us how far the school was. If I would've known I would've home schooled my child. These kinds of things would never happen in CA. If we demanded a school they would build one! even if it was out of budget!!

For the safety of our children and to avoid the ridiculous roundabout commute just to get to the school and back home, please re-zone.

For the safety of our children, please be reasonable by lessening our children commute. Consider Rezoning.

It just doesn't make sense that our kids are forced to go to all the way to Baranoff, when Circle C schools are much closer...

A 30 minute one-way commute to elementary school is absurd and unacceptable. If we lived in the country it would be a little more reasonable, but we live in the fastest growing city. I am very concerned for the children that are forced to ride the bus an hour and a half before school starts. This creates a significant hardship for many families. There has to be a better solution.
