I remember the good old fun days when my daughter Sherri Scobie-Henry swam in that pool. She represented Saint Lucia then. From then to the present, certainly some thing ought to have been to improve competitive swimming facilities in Grenada. I wholeheartedly support your petition.

As a Grenadian national swimmer for 7 years. I fine its time a pool is given to us. We have gone to meets time and time again and brought back good results home. Athletes has been given a stadium, why not give the swimmers a pool to improve on their abilities!

Having been a swimmer for Grenada more than 20 years ago I understand the plight. My days of training were in a hotel pool and Good Hope was put in place shortly after my departure from the sport. Swimmers need to build their endurance by swimming longer distances, and 25 yards is unacceptable. I wish your organization all the best in this endeavour, Grenada needs a swimming facility to compare with its cricket and athletic stadiums.

the sea is great for building stamina, but to train to a level to compete in pool competitions, swimmers need to experience pool training! Like any competitive sport, players need equipment and a proper place to practice! A so over field, a basketball court, a tennis court, a pool!
