I created this petition pertaining to the opportunity in assisting in coaching the Brewster Academy Girls JV Hockey program. I have been playing hockey sense I could walk, I am very passionate for the sport and culture. This past season I suffered a carrier ending concussion which cut my ties to the hockey and lacrosse program. For the past two summers, I have been a camp councilor teaching young men the fundamentals of self discipline and character. Over the summer I had to also figure out if I was going to be associated with the Brewster Academy Boys Varsity Hockey program. I thought about what I wanted to do with my life as I was applying to colleges, and the answer was clear, I would be coaching at an east coast Boarding School as a hockey coach and teaching. I wanted to get a jump on my future, that way I would prosper in college with communicating to schools. I have been thinking alot about the opportunity of assisting with the girls JV-Hockey Program, I could continue teaching others all I have learned over my years of playing hockey on competitive teams. I know how the young ladies need help in developing their: skating, stick handling and game fundamentals. I would like to help in the coaching of the team and assisting with program this winter.
