Green Women's Declaration

I've voted Green most local elections over the past 20 years. But I will not while ever the Green Party bow at the gender ideology altar and deny women a voice.

I'm only a very distant supporter, but the same things are happening in Canada which is my home, and I have the same concerns. Men and women need to support each other.

Biology cannot be ignored. Sex and gender can be distinguished but cannot be separated.

Women exist.

So important for women and girls

If the GPEW accepts this Declaration, it'd make it possible for me to rejoin.

If it had been possible to support womens’ sex based rights as enshrined in law within the party I’d still be a Green Party Borough Councillor. As it is I resigned and I know others who have too.

Our struggle as women has a scientific and historical base, we cannot allow ourselves to disappear as a human category. Other gender oppression is other, not the same as our. I support human rights for all. But let women speak.

Well done. I quit the Scottish Greens over this issue and joined GPEW instead. Greens should be guided by decency and science, not censorious idealogy

It is vital that women’s rights are protected. Those who are born male should not be in female spaces. Not in sport, not in bathrooms, not in prisons, not in women’s refuges. Any crime committed by a male at birth, should be recorded as a male crime and not a female crime. Men can dress how they like, but it is vital that females are not expected to give up their privacy, safety or opportunities in favour of any males however they see themselves.

Biology is paramount.

I welcome this statement and if it is adopted by the GP I may consider rejoining.

Bravo to all you gutsy women! And the men who support us! Fight ignorance on all fronts and those who deny science and biology. Dont let the irrational hordes dominate the discussion or circulate lies.

I recently left the Green Party because of the misogyny inherent in their wholesale adoption of gender identity ideology. Well done to those staying to fight from the inside.

It is of the greatest importance that women's sex based rights are protected. We are half the world and the most persecuted people in the world because of our sex.

Women’s rights need to be protected. This needs to be signed by all women everywhere.
