Let's get Greenwich & Whitstable towns twinned with one another Greenwich,SE London & Whitstable, Kent, share a great common bond with one another. Those who live in either towns or (surrounding towns) never fail to miss the unique fact that many residents have either left Greenwich to live in Whitstable or vice versa.Both communities share a love for both towns in many ways. Both towns also share a bond when it comes to Music and Comedy. Many Whitstable artists are known to trek down on a regular basis to Play in Greenwich and in turn Greenwich artists tend to also trek up to Whitstable to play regularly. To celebrate this unique bond, We are looking to have Both Greenwich and Whitstable Towns 'Rock & Royally' twinned with one another, to recognise the strong bond that exists together with both Communities. This would also possibly be the 1st time in English History that 2 English towns would be twinned together. This petition, would encourage both councils to officially recognise both towns in such a way.
