Please choose Concept 1 which would keep our children going through the Oakdale system, elementary, middle, and high schools. Not only is our community close to the schools (we can see the lights for the high school), it is important for the kids to have a sense of school pride and be excited. This will affect their social, emotional and possibly academic record. Don't use our children as "numbers" to have bottoms in the seats, make sure you take in to account they are children and how this will affect them being bounced to new schools, being the ONLY new students, being the ONLY children to be bounced back to a high school after being gone for maybe 5 or more years.

Keep option #1 - Why? 1) proximity to school, 2) established feeder patterns and 3) community impact. BUT MOST OF ALL, 4) our children do not deserve to be bounced around. A lot of families in neighborhood bought here specifically, and have invested in this community, so our children would go to Oakdale schools. Because of all the new building happening we should not be impacted!

Please plan for our children of Greenview PB #63 to remain at OES, OMS, and OHS. Switching them back and forth between feeder patterns, as proposed in current options #2/3, should not even be a consideration.
