Support for option 1 only - Please keep Greenview (planning block #63) in Oakdale schools.

Michele provides a sound argument in favor of Option 1. The Greenview neighborhood has an established feeder pattern in the Oakdale system starting 20 years ago. As stated, Options 2 and 3 will have a detrimental effect on children whipsawing them back and forth between different feeder patterns away from the Oakdale schools that are so close we can hear the football games and the beat of the Oakdale Marching Band drumline. Option 1 for Planning Block #63 best meets the criteria outline in Policy 200.2 1) Proximity to Schools 2) Established Feeder Patterns 3) Impact on Neighborhoods and Communities If a compromise is necessary, Option 3 could be debated however less than optimal the choice would be. Option 1 is clearly in the best interests of our children.

I love in the Greenview community and have a third grader at Oakdale Elementary School. My son has an IEP for anxiety and ADHD. To move him would be detrimental as well as illogical since our neighborhood is much closer in proximity to the Oakdale schools than many other neighborhoods. Please keep our community with all Oakdale schools.

I think option one is the only option for our children. The Middle school and High school years are hard enough without moving them around to different schools. Our neighborhood was established way before overcrowding became a issue maybe you need to consider moving the new children that have not already formed relationships.

I am very concerned about the future of my children. Due to proximity to the school, already established feeder patterns, and the well being of our children PB 63 should remain OES, OMS, &OHS.
