Why would you ever consider Option 2 or 3? On all levels this is wrong, we are the closest in proximity to Option 1 - why bus our kids away from our backyard schools? Why make them go through so many school changes which could affect them socially and mentally during such a vulnerable time in their lives? This makes ZERO sense on all levels, leave our kids alone, our vote is Option 1!!

Only desirable option is OES >> OMS >> OHS.

Frankly, disrupting the lives of our children for so little gain makes no sense at all. Try walking in their shoes a moment. You’d find little benefit to both options 2 and 3, while making their school transitions more difficult than they need to be.

This is ridiculous that the closest community to Oakdale schools would be moved.

The Oakdale schools are our neiborhood school. Our kids need to stay in their neighborhood schools.

Keeping what is best for our children in mind… these kids need whatever will keep their lives steady and consistent! They can not always be the new kids and make new friends, then have them yet again pulled away by changing to different schools. We moved here in 2014 specifically because our neighborhood was the closest to Oakdale Schools.

I'm STRONGLY in favor to keep all the Greenview children within Oakdale schools. Our children in our wonderful community should not be punished (feels like it) just because other new communities are popping from recent new housing developments.

I have 3 young children who will all be affected by these moves and it is quite concerning if option 2 or 3 are selected. As children who switch schools after elementary school tend to have lower school engagement, poorer grades in reading and math, and a higher risk of dropping out of high school altogether, we’d hate for our children to go through moves that are unwarranted.

Planning Block 63 should remain in the Oakdale schools feeder pattern due to logistics and least impact to the community. Our home is 1.3 miles to OES, 1.1 miles to OMS and 0.9 miles to OHS. It is not responsible to move the students to other feeder patterns for this reason alone. This is the only logical solution that makes sense for this small established community. Thank you.

I am a student at Oakdale Elementary planning to attend Oakdale Middle and would like to stay with my classmates throughout middle school instead of being separated after a year there.

It is absurd to throw our community in to multiple districts when Oakdale is the closest and already the schools associated with our community. Please keep option 1 for Greenview. All 3 schools oakdale. Thank you.

The community of Greenview needs to stay in the Oakdale school district for elementary, middle, and high. Not thrown around to different districts having a largely negative affect on our community.

It is essential that the students from the Greenview community remain in their current feeder pattern of OES/OMS/OHS, option 1. for Planning Block #63. It best meets the criteria outlined in Policy 200.2 - Proximity to Schools, Established Feeder Patterns, and Impact on Neighborhoods and Communities. Proposed options 2 and 3 would jeopardize the students well-being and academic success by taking away their ability to advance with their school peers as they move from elementary to middle and then from middle to high school. When you consider the criteria listed above, the only logical choice for planning block 63 is option 1.

Keep option #1. This neighborhood is so close to all the Oakdale schools, and it would be very inconsiderate to bus these kids further away from the schools they are now in. It is less than 1/2 mile to the Oakdale schools, why make them travel to schools further away? It just doesn't make sense!
