This petition is to The Prime Minister of Australia, Mr Kevin Rudd regarding the Federal Government 'Green Loans' media release dated, 19th Feb 2010 advising that the Green Loan component will cease on 22nd March 2010.
By signing this petition:
1. We strongly support the continuation of the Government's Green Loan $10,000 interest free loan.
2. The Federal Government continue the Loan application process until the 30th June 2010.
3. At that time a review of the uptake and success of householders accessing and utilising the Loan and a further decision made of the continuation of the $10,000 Green Loan component.

The government is trying to pull the plug on these loans way too early. Call the office of the Prime Minister right now and demand they keep this funding open until the end of June.

Keep the loans going. We need more time to get the quotes sorted!!
This is ridiculous. We were planning on doing the work in a few months. Why pull the rug out now?
Typical. Get us interested and then take it away. Fix this Kevin.
Extending it to june makes total sense. Give people a chance to actually apply.
Very disappointed by this announcement. A lot of families were counting on this for solar.

The government needs to stop messing around. We want to be more energy efficient but cannot afford it without help.
