The proposed overdevelopment of this area given the additions that have already occurred on mcdowell and on hayden are a deterrent to living in the area, and in Arizona in general. I have been in this area nearly 20 years and I assure you, the City should not want all renters. And that is what it will be soon if this continues.

Scottsdale needs another apartment/condo complex like I need another hole in my head. All that was good in Scottsdale is slowly being turned into overpriced multi family living for California's. Unacceptable!

I actually did not have a problem with this except for the unnecessary height. The project needs to be scaled back and proof of retail/restaurant commitments included.

Living just a few blocks from the specified location, I would like to state that I greatly appreciate the businesses located in this area including uncle sal's, nature nails, the dance academy, etc. I was born into this neighborhood and these small businesses have been apart of my life here. I've taken classes as a kid in the dance studio, gone to family dinners with my now deseased grandmother at uncle sal's, and developed a wonderful relationship with the amazing people at nature nails. I don't want to loose this sense of community and don't believe that this new project will keep what we have already developed here. Working in the food and beverage industry, I can see how we are shifting. I am happy our state is welcoming new neighbors as we continue to succeed in this uncertain economy. However, I feel as if we can come to a better solution than to build these massive structures our smaller communities in order to accommodate our growing population.

Traffic is major concern. With all the additional vehicles there will be an obvious congestion issue at Hayden and Osborn. Additionally, 82nd, 86th & 87th streets will be cut through for drivers accessing Indian School rd/101 in an effort to avoid Hayden & Indian School intersection. This is already an issue without an additional 500 vehicles. Please deny this proposal!!

Don't we have enough apartments in this area? The greenbelt acts as a water diversion and to build in this area means a lot of urban problems from flooding, to traffic flow, to congestion and a drain on our available water. Stop this idiocy and look elsewhere to build. We don't need homeless people living in these apartments.
Round-a-bouts are not an answer to more congestion, if anything they slow traffic down.

The density and traffic of this project is not suitable for this location. Please stop cramming oversized projects into small areas. We are loosing our beautiful views. This location is also prone to flooding and is not suitable for homes.

The additional traffic density this project will cause additional traffic congestion at Pima Elementary School 1/4 of a mile East of the intersection.
