I would love a farmers market accessible to the Hunters Point area. I am a wheelchair user so it is hard for me to go long distances for fresh produce.
Would love to see a farmer’s market in LIC. We had one when we lived in Jackson Heights and shopped there each week. We tried the farmer’s share / coop out of Alewife and split with our neighbors but everyone eventually moved.
Hello. I’m a resident of Long Island City HPS Queens. This is a vast up and coming neighborhood. We get lots of tourists and visitors including vendors all throughout the year. It would be VERY helpful to have a farmers market in this area that is extremely environmental conscious & health conscious. It helps the local farmers and the community
LIC has rapidly increasing population yet we don't have nearly enough grocery options that are locally sourced, health-concious, and reasonably priced. A farmer's market would be a perfect fit for our needs, as currently LIC doesn't have one despite the growing community with lots of new residential buildings going up. This is a long overdue and very much welcomed addition to our community!!
The community needs this option. Unlike other locations Grow may have, the people on the waterfront really have no options for healthy vegetables.
Please bring a farmer's market to LIC!

We’d love a farmers market! This is the first time I’m living in a queens neighborhood without one and I really miss the access to farm produce, composting, and textile recycling.
