Women’s and girls lived experiences, our reality is based on SEX - not identity. Being female brings a whole biological reality that needs consideration. Men will never experience or understand this reality of living in a female body and how society responds to that.

I've been happy with my MP Caroline Lucas's willingness to have conversations about this issue, but disappointed with the Green Party nationally on this matter. I will be voting for Caroline, but want more clarity from the Green Party about its commitments to women and girls.

I cancelled my membership of the Scottish Greens after being told that holding the views expressed in this petition made me unwelcome in the party; I cannot vote Green again until the official party position admits the debate we so urgently need.

Hello Dana, thank you very much for signing the petition. Did you uncheck the box which stops emails coming to you? If not and emails arrive (which will be automatic ones from the petition site rather than from us) there should be an option at the bottom of them to 'unsubscribe', so if the worst comes to the worst, you can do that. Hope that is ok.

I cannot vote Green while it maintains its stance on gender ideology. This is dangerous for women and girls and is rolling back our rights and protections. It is not anti- trans to object to proposed changes to the GRA on the basis that there is clear conflict with women's sex based rights. I hope The Green Party listens.
