A bike lane along. Green Bay is not investment that our city needs. It would destroy so many trees that help give our city its character. We also have the green bay trail which is a great bike Thorofare through Highland Park.

This is a very dangerous plan for both bike riders and residents of Green Bay rd. Please find another place to put a bike trail.

It’s wide enough for single file bikers to ride safely. Most go in huge groups which will not stay in the bike lane. Right now common maintenance and utility vehicles don’t disturb two way traffic, but with designated bike lanes with bollards they will bottle neck the traffic. Plus how will they handle the already steep driveways on the east side if it’s expanded? Either the road height needs to increase or they will take land away from the residents. Cars already bottom out on some driveways.

Don’t want to make the road wider. Don’t want to cut down trees. Don't want the project to take even longer. Don’t want bikers on Green Bay Road. Use Green Bay trail, (improve it), St John’s and Sheridan instead because are not as fast and busy.

I don’t want bike lanes. I don’t want parkways and trees removed . Green Bay Road is a lovely boulevard. Just fix the pavement and pipes.

As a resident of Highland Park's Ravinia neighborhood, I oppose this plan, which largely benefits few individuals (as it happens, most of whom don't reside in but only ride their bikes through Highland Park) at significant cost - tangible and intangible - to Highland Park residents. Just because HP might have the funds to execute this project, it's money that could be better used elsewhere in our community. Thank you for considering this feedback.

I strongly oppose the addition of bike lanes on Green Bay Road. There are plenty of usable bike lanes all around the area. The bike lanes will create a safety hazard for bicyclists and residents of Green Bay Road alike, have a severe negative impact on nature in the immediate area, and many other negatives. There is no real benefit of doing this and the project is clearly for political gains versus actually focusing on what’s right for the (very) high tax paying residents.

The packs of bikers that use green bay will not use the designated bike lanes. Cutting trees down to accommodate the bike lanes that will mostly go unused is a waste of money and time. That money should be used to make improvements to the GB trail. Lastly, the timing of the beginning of this construction couldn't come at a worst time with the kids coming back to Edgewood in April and Ravinia kids being bussed to Green Bay in the fall.

I understand the road bed itself has to be improved. I strongly disagree with plans to widen the road for bike lanes given other alternatives. Use that money to fill potholes in existing roads so riders are safe.

Green Bay is wide enough as it is. The foundation, curbs, and the surface need to be brought up to modern specs, and the sidewalks need improvement. GB is already regularly used by cyclists. For better or worse, they don't seem to have any trouble getting around HP.
It would be a needless waste of capital to add bike lanes and I may be wrong but I haven't noticed any other town along the North Shore with GB bike lanes.
I am opposed to the plan to widen Green bay rd.
I vote NO to 2 years of construction on GBR.
