Once you take away trees and greenspace you can't get it back. This is not an environmentally sound plan.

Minimal use by bikers doesn’t warrant removing mature trees, encumbering private property, and impeding access to homes. Spend the money fixing streets used by more than a handful of bikers.

Green Bay Road is a major traffic use road and bikes make it more dangerous. I am against putting in bikes lanes.

There are numerous other routes for north south bike riders. I am a rider and feel that GBR is too dangerous.

We have more than enough safe routes for bikers, this construction will be a pain on a main traffic route and is not worth the city budget. Please do not do this.

no need or rationale for bike lanes on Green Bay Rd.! St Johns and the bike path along the tracks are ample,,, and safe.

As a long-distance bike rider for more than 40 years, and an HP resident who for the last 35 years has lived within 1/2 mile of Green Bay Road, I think this is probably the stupidest, most expensive, most dangerous idea to have been put forward in years. I totally agree with the gentleman who described this project as a solution in search of a problem. The Green Bay Trail near St. Johns Avenue is lovely. A bit of minor tweaks and improvements would be sensible and appreciated. Destroying trees on Green Bay Road, narrowing the roadbed, and infringing on Green Bay Road residents (not to mention HP's history of poor road improvement management) should be sufficient reason to drop this wasteful and dangerous project!

Why not put the effort & funds into improving (paving?) the Green-bay trail for the same distance ??
