Please sign this petition to indicate your opposition in the proposed construction plans to widen Green Bay Rd. in Highland Park for any purposes including, but not limited to any form of a bike lane.
The city council continues to dodge our emails about the disastrous Green Bay Road widening project. They think they can ignore us until the bulldozers show up but we are not going anywhere.

I am all for improving Green Bay Road, but absolutely oppose a bike lane, taking peoples property & cutting down trees. Please reconsider, it would be a very poor decision. In addition, this bike path probably won’t be used as St Johns & Sheridan Road are a much better route & used by cyclists l.

Too much of a hazard for cyclist. It’s a busy road as it is, not to mention the USPS, Amazon, and all other delivery trucks having to park on the side with hazards.
Important to note during Ravinia Festival season, traffic is horrendous.

Live at 848 Green Bay. Parkway very steep here. Concerned that it will be even steeper. Also, serious problem with safely driving in and out of driveway with bicycles. Prefer that bikes be encouraged to use Green Bay trail. Very unhappy.

I am opposed to the bike path. We have a perfectly good path along the train tracks, it's an irresponsible use of tax payer funds, and the increased traffic during the construction would harm residents and local businesses.

I’m against have bike lanes along Green Bay Rd. It’s hard enough pulling out of driveway onto Green Bay Rd. I’m NOT for removing PARKWAY trees that provide somewhat of a buffer. Not willing to decrease my property value.

As a Highland Park resident for almost 38 years, I thought Highland Park was proud to be a "Tree City". There are beautiful trees on Green Bay road which is a major thoroughfare for the region. I am an avid bike rider and not in favor of bike lanes on Green Bay road.
