We signed a contract that we chose (because we choose our families also according to the working hours). We know very well that the weekly hours not to be exceeded are 45 hours so we are ready to make an effort! But if we signed for a family or for example we were sure to never work more than 25 hours during school and 40 hours during holidays for example, it is because we did not want a family or that all year round. 45 / week! In addition, it was not only 45 hours / week non-stop with the children, it was 3/4 months locked up with the children without ever being able to clear their heads because everything was closed etc! In the end for me, for example, I would have had 6 normal months and 6 months without school, including 3 months locked up! The visits of our families, our visits to our countries ... everything has been canceled! We would like to be thanked for this difficult job. Our families make a lot of money by having an au pair and not a nanny, moreover the goal of our cultural year has been ruined (no more trips, no outings for 3/4 months, our language courses canceled) and our families do not even say that a salary thank you would be a huge recognition for our work! For the au pairs who held during this hard period, we would like to obtain an end of contract as recognition, many families found themselves without an au pair due to many departures, but what about those who had the mind to support this whole year?
