How can young children learn and develop IF they are too cold? We can still have tournaments in the summer, with light night's no reason we can't have mid week games.

The best way to ensure all ages are able to develop and play football is through a spring / summer league

Councils simply do not have the money to invest in 3G pitches or to spend on maintaining grass pitches. Move to spring & autumn and have futsal indoors throughout the winter.

It’s a must for future development. Spring and summer football. The pitches in winter ar3 a disgrace.

Our u10s have only played one game on grass in the last 2 months. What's the point in a league when half the games get called off every year

The game is played on grass, why on earth do we play the game in the months it doesnt grow. Summer foorball means more football !

My u8's team has not played for 8 weeks, they are missing out on so much, not just football development but bonding & mixing with boys & girls from all around the region which is totally unacceptable when it can be avoided by simply adjusting the season to the summer.

Grassroots football should always be there,it brings kids and people together, learns them society skills, how to integrate and respect people,to express and enjoy themselves and make friendships along the way teaches the respect and not just that they have a right to get anything they want.
