We run a licensed taxi in Windsor. We are licensed by the council and this means we are safety checked and horses vetted annually, we have full commercial liability insurance and we run along a set route that poses no competition to other taxi services in the town. Visitors come to take a ride with us regularly and we've even known people come back each year for the trip! We wish you every success and can only say if you can show that your route for your carriage rides is a set route that does not pose a threat to other taxis business then your council should be able to grant a specialised licence for you. Good luck- we'd certainly come visit for a trip if we were on holiday!
