Grant Exemption for Ukraine Returned Final Year Medical Students for KROK 2 Examination

Hello, good afternoon! I'm a 6th course Indian student from ODESSA NATIONAL MEDICAL UNIVERSITY. We had our krok-2 exam on 23/05/2023. So I kindly wanted you to know the issues faced by us to write this krok2 exam inspite of all the struggles.  1. We were all forced to rush out of kharkiv,ukraine last year due to the war situation now. After a great struggle and with indefinite racism we were allowed to cross the border to Poland after a struggle for 3 days standing in freezing cold.  2. Now we went to india, all our lives changed. We doubted ourself. We were all blank about our further studies and the war intensified.  3. We didn't have proper study for the past 2 years. We didn't face clinical patients. We had classes online, which was actually of no use for doctors like us. We students lost hope and our parents lost hope about our career. 4. We decided to come back to Ukraine to complete our study with great courage. But then our parents were not ready to send us back to Ukraine because of the struggles we faced last year(Feb 2022). We tried to convince them and also ourself to reach Ukraine in spite of the same struggles we had last year.  5. Now this KROK2 2023 was really really tough for us students who studied online for the past 3 years due to covid and war. And we didn't expect this kind of paper after our struggle to reach Ukraine and write the exam. As you already know this (2023) was the hardest paper in the history of krok2 exam.  6. Our mental health was spoiled, thinking about our career. Inspite of that we returned to Ukraine. And as a foreign student it was really hard to study during air alarms ..sirens ...bombing etc.. We faced the same struggles to reach back which we faced last year while leaving Ukraine.  7. So now I kindly request you to consider my message and understand our situation. I'm pleasing you very hard to reduce the threshold percentage to 54%, so that it might help students get better. Last year krok2 2022 was can

We don’t want krok2 exam . Because we are not mentally prepared for that and main thing krok is not for foreign students . We want our degree without krok

We are writing to you as concerned final year medical students enrolled in the esteemed medical universities of Ukraine. We would like to draw your attention to the challenges and difficulties that we, as students, are currently facing due to the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. Firstly, it is important to highlight that last year, because of Ukraine -Russia war situations ,some of us chose to continue our studies through online mode, while others pursued education in various universities across the globe through mobility programs. This decision, was difficult journey and subjected us to immense stress and anxiety as we had to navigate through a cumbersome process of choosing mobility programs or adapting to online study. Now, as we are about to graduate, we have been notified of the upcoming Krok 2 examination , which is not yet clear where to be conducted .It is disheartening to note that amidst our already challenging circumstances, we are being burdened with the pressure of preparing for this crucial examination. Moreover, the dates for the examination have been undermined and changed once, and there is uncertainty about further changes in the future. This constant ambiguity has further intensified our anxiety and has made it difficult for us to concentrate on our exam preparations. Furthermore, the confusion regarding the location of exam centers and the examination process itself has added to the mental burden that we, as students, are currently carrying. The lack of clear guidance and information has left us feeling overwhelmed and unable to focus on adequately preparing for the exam. Considering these exceptional circumstances and the mental stress that we have endured throughout our academic journey, we kindly request you to grant an exemption for the Krok 2 examination for this particular time. We sincerely hope that you will empathize with our situation and take our plea into serious consideration. Granting an exemption for this exam

All those students who applied for krok this year on 23/05 felt injustice and paper was unfair due to lot of reasons. Many of them came back to Ukraine thinking to finish up everything and taking up degree and go back home. But after krok exam it seems like everything is changed because pattern in exam was totally different compared to pattern given by test center site. So we just hope that we get justice soon...
