Hopefully this gets the attention of the people in charge since they hate any kind of bad publicity. Good luck!

I agree with this article! We have the right to wear a dress without legging , or anything we want to wear yet protecting dangerous people!

I fully support this. I'm not against a dress code, but their dress code is too strict and it needs to be a little more lenient.

I promise showing shoulders won't disrupt learning; or stump any of your academic achievements for that matter.

As an Alumni I spent at least 30 hours of detention for leggings and for shorts that were too short but my arms are just long! Students and teachers need to control their behavior and thoughts instead of blaming girls. Yes there are plenty of women clothing that shouldnt be worn at school but for the standards they held on us were very strict and the punishment to wear gym clothes was public shaming. Everyone knew you were wearing something you shouldnt.

I used to attend Granada and always wished I would have petitioned the dress code! You have my support! :)

Sexist dress codes exist at every school, and they need to stop, now.

Diminishing a girl's self worth is not the answer, rather it's teaching men we are not sexual objects. The most effective way to do anything is to go to the source of the problem, and I can tell you it's not girls clothing.

Yes finally! As a granada alumni I personally have dealt with the stress of their stupid dress code for 4 years and even got suspended because of it. It also got me detention which turned into more detention for not completing it by a certain time. Like honestly for clothing? I was a good student and never would have got in trouble if it weren't for their super strict and ridiculous policies. In the 4 years I went there it only got more strict. Good luck to you new GHCHS students! Wishing you guys success

Teach guys to control themselves rather than teach women to cover their bodies for the comfort of everyone else.

I agree with this person, girls are dress coded for their shorts being an inch shorter than necessary when we are also not at fault for making the clothes and we do het looked at as a sexual object by the boys in school

As a Granada Hills alumni, I support the female student body's action to lessen the dress code.

Always seemed unnecessary.
