This dress code is ridiculous. Why do boys get to wear muscle tops that go super low and whatever shirt they want? Mrs.Dunn is always out of dress code so why doesn't she look at herself first. Smh just because she can't pull off out of dresscode clothes she dress codes us . If we're so "distracting" then let the boys wear blindfolds.

The fact that boy are allowed to get away with our dress code is completely unfair. Girls are not sexual objects but Granada Hills Charter makes us feel like it since we are not allowed to express ourselves through clothing because boys will be distracted while they are learning. We cant wear leggings or any stretchy pants and shorts or skirts must be fingertip plus one inch. What happened to wearing what to want and excepting your body type. I go to Granada and this is my second year here, yet i still do not own one pair of jeans. The dress code is corrupt.

I wear tank tops that go very low and I've never been dress coded.

We have to start off somewhere and we chose for the dress code to be addressed for it promotes unnecessary things

Leggings and bralets under shirts should be permitted at the school. I understand if the school feels it is necessary to have a dress code, however, some of the restrictions are beyond what is necessary. By stating that what some of the girls wear is "distracting," the school is promoting the wrong type of mentality. As opposed to working to change the view of women, the school works to contain them.

This and (please fix the tardy policty too) the tardy policy (lock out) is too extreme. I'm constantly worried about my dress being too short or being late to school because the school is surrounded by the busiest streets and adults are going to work or students are going to other schools so it causes a lot of traffic. I miss a whole class just because I come to school late even though I did not plan to. Accidents happen and I get punished for it.
