I was in the first graduating class from Cleveland in 2013. It is an incredible achievement and these students work so hard. THEY NEED TO BE RECOGNIZED!

This is ridiculous. Those kids have worked hard and should be recognized for their efforts. This type of coddling so as not to hurt feelings is out of hand. Recognize those kids who worked hard and earned it.

The only reason I took some classes is to have high honors... If this is going to be the case what's the point of even taking these classes if we arnt even going to be recognized for them

This is outrageous. Students should be recognized for their accomplishments. These students have worked outrageously hard for their grades, and deserve to be recognized for it. There's no good reason to change the way graduation has been done for years. This is only moving us further towards a "participation trophy" mentality.

Please recognize the honors students first and then the rest of the graduates alphabetically. It is only fair to give the honor grads their moment of recognition!

I do think that if you are in honors or a high honors that you deserve to get called before everybody else, I'm only saying that because the people in the honors classes do work harder than everybody else and I've seen that, so yes I do agree

I graduated as salutatorian of CvHS in 2014. It makes me so sad to see that these students will not be recognized for their accomplishments and hard work for the past four years. Hopefully the signatures on this petition will show administration that the changes made to the process this year should be reversed back to the way they were before.

I graduated with honors from WJHS in 2012 and I know how much of a privilege it is for the school to acknowledge that accomplishment. It gives the student a sense of pride for all of their hard work to get that honors and they deserve to be recognized for it.

After four years of hard work and assignments, these students should be recognized for their achievements. It disheartens me that the administration of this public institution would pull this from these admirable students at such short notice. They deserve to be recognized publicly, not just be another duck in the row.
