Keep the traditional colors that have been around for generations. Everything has been changed during our senior year this year, but this should not be changed.

As both my, and my husbands families, of 3 generations, have attended Eastchester Schools, we've experienced many traditions. This is the fabric of this great town that we call home.. From doing away with our beautiful football field, the unsightly grounds of both the high school and Ann Hutch (which is disgraceful,or the seeming insignificant removal of the majestic oak tree on Waverlys property. I am proud to sign my name on this petition, to support my fellow alum, who preceded and also followed me (class of 1974) in school. Let's keep one of the few traditions, that we have left in our town. As we often work toward indiviguality, Having only one color is only being politically correct, in showing all students as the same. A possible alternative, could be adding a third color, for those who choose to. PLEASE reconsider your decision. In reality, there are still only 2 genders, and changing to any thing else but that, is rediculous.

I’m willing to give my traditional blue cap and gown to a graduating senior to wear at graduation if they don’t change it back to the traditional way.

It's disheartening, as someone who graduated from EHS, almost 34 years ago, had two sisters graduate 12 and 18 years later, and been apart of dozens of graduations since with other friends and family that have graduated from a high school long in tradition and focused on legacy. I support the graduation gowns remaining as they have for MANY decades and providing an individual option for those that would like to have individual accountability for their personal choice. I hope the school makes the correct decision and returns to the classic blue and white.

Keep it in Memory of Coach Cecere.
