It's hard to teach a child that academics come first before anything else when things like this take priority. Does the stadium need an update? Yes, but let's do it in a more correct time and manner. Give these kids their graduation first.

If they hadn't had graduation outside when my granddaughter graduated most of the family would not have been there.

The class of 2016 deserves this more than the football team needs the field. To this county the football team means for than everything else, when all of the other activities, such as chorus and art, get no praise on their accomplishments. The class of 2016 should be more important than a football game.

My baby girl is graduating this year! I say postpone the reno. These kids have worked hard for many years! Sometimes football is too important here.

I don't have any one graduating but this is a special day for them and should not be limited to who can come. Not fair to have to choose family members. Graduation should be first not football.

To not have a graduation ceremony due to the reconstruction of a football field is ludicrous. These kids worked for over a decade to get to this point. So this begs the question, who stands to gain from this field work?

My kid is a graduating senior this year and to force her to choose a limited amount of guests to see her walk while no other class before or after is a tragic injustice. School board needs to reconsider this situation. We should all show up at the school board and demand that academic achievement come before spending thousands of dollars to reconstruct a field for a mediocre football team!!

In my personal opinion Graduation is far more important than Football or any other sport. I've always instilled in my son that Education always comes first and is the most important. Sports will always come second and always will.
