On June 17th, 2022, Penn State announced a Graduate Student Stipend increase of 3% for the 2022-2023 academic year. However, the inflation rate is at 8% and therefore, graduate students feel strongly that the graduate student stipend should increase by at least 8% for the 2022-2023 academic year, to ensure that the spending power of our stipend does not decrease.
