One if the silver linings of this year has been the improved availability of health care to Australians through Telehealth and the continued provision of this essential service is invaluable for the ongoing health of our community.

This needs to stay. I have used telehealth a couple of times this year and it has saved me having to book time of work to physically go to the doctors for results etc. This should be kept as it is accesible for anyone anywhere.

All women should be able to access medical expertise to assist them in understanding menopause and the impact to their mental and physical health. Telehealth consultations allow all women to be able to receive this service regardless of where they live.

I would like to support the improvement of women's health when it comes to peri menopause, as it seems to be an understudied area for medical professionals. I think video conferences are a great alternative to face to face visits, especially during the pandemic.

I have never been offered post menopausal care. I don't even know what it might consist of. Some of the medical complaints I've had may simply due to post menopause.

It's a shame more GP's aren't as proactive as Dr Kelly Teagle. This type of service is so important to all women. We haven't asked for our bodies to go through this change, we don't have a choice. This service needs to be available to all, so why are we having to ask for rebates from Medicare? Shame on the Government. They should be encouraging more GP's to step up and offer this important health service by making it affordable to everyone.

Is a must not only moving forward in a world with COVID19 but also so people in remote communities can access care that they need without the added expense of having to travel and stay in city locations. It has the ability to not only reduce travel and expenses but also improve health outcomes through improved access.

This service should be a medicare rebate service as I have been to my GP clinic and others , who are just unable to address my perimenopause problems that keep occuring.

All women should have access to menopausal care. Unfortunately they are rarely getting it from their regular GP. Knowing I can recommend WellFemme to women in crisis, is very reassuring. But just like my HRT not being on the PBS, medical costs are expensive too. Easy to access menopausal care is vital for the women of Australia.

The absolutely FANTASTIC menopause clinic I have found is on the opposite side of the city to where I work and only operates Mon to Fri. Telehealth appointments allow me to have a consultation without taking a half day off work to attend. Telehealth Medicare rebates should stay.

This is an essential service and should be fully supported by Medicare. Half
of the world must navigate menopause, a period of massive physiological and emotional change and services need to recognise and reflect this human condition.
