MBS Rebates for GP specialist Telehealth Consultations

With Telehealth bulk billed appointments I now have access to a wider range of healthcare providers with different expertise, who were impossible to access before Telehealth as located far away. From the patient's point of view, there is no advantage whatsoever in going backwards to the one only option (face-to-face) appointments. The technology is already here to make healthcare more uniform in Australia, so let's make it available permanently to those who need it or prefer it.

From minor surgery to chronic conditions having to travel and stay at extra cost and time off work, sometimes needing others to take time off work to help also is difficult.

This service is absolutely key in supporting rural and regional communities. Affordable and timely medical services need to continue to be available to our communities. The positive flow on effect can be measured not only economically but directly in people's health and wellbeing. Please keep this service available to reduce the inequality between metropolitan and rural Australians.

Please keep telehealth bulked billed after sept 2020 rural and remote women need this service to be free to allow access to all disadvantage women thanks SJ

This service is much needed by rural women and I myself wouldn't have access to Kelly Teagles expertise without a telehealth appointment.

Kelly’s knowledge has helped me so much. Women need to be able to afford this help through bulk billing .

Rural patients benefit by having access to telehealth consultations. It saves time, travel, stress and money It gives us access to information and support that we may not receive or have available locally

Telehealth services should be supported by medicare permanently, not just for the current situation we are in with Covid-19. I can't understand why seeing a GP in person can be supported by medicare but telehealth services like this can't. This is a very crucial service many women need and rely on.

Telehealth is a proven method of delivering GP services in rural Western Australia and there is no reason this service shouldn't be available to all Australians

I support telehealth for all GPs under the current coronavirus infected environment. Western Sydney.

Would be a great service to offer those that cannot easily travel to access these services

So many county patients miss out on excellent services due to current non funding of Telehealth! Please review and amend.

Attending one of Kellies seminars in Grenfell encouraged me to go to my Dr, & that is when I found out I had DCIS breast cancer. If I had not attended Kellies seminar I still wouldn’t know that I had breast cancer.

Women in regional and rural areas desperately need this service for financial and distance reasons - thanks to Kelly I got access and I know first hand this service is so valuable

This is a service that is truly needed & should be funded

This would be great for rural women who a a great distances from a health service.

Talk about hot flushes and other symptoms ,like mood swings.

Such a shame that many rural women can't afford this essential service when they need it.

So many Australians live miles away from health services- the system needs to support these people more

Surely a Medicare rebate at the primary care end of the health continuum would be cheaper than hospitalisation for untreated issues due to lack of access to a GP.
