Why are older women so invisible ? We need healthcare that concentrates on our stage of life.

I worked in a low SES community in WA and these specialised menopause sessions were affordable at 50% discount but now I can no longer advise my clients to have them at full cost. We have such minimal good quality information here about menopause so this is an incredible pity.

Very important to rural communities or those that cannot drive, have no access to a vehicle or public transport.

Funding telehealth consultations for rural and remote patients is vital to bridge the gap in healthcare.

The long term cost benefit has got to be in the Governments advantage! Why deny people early and timely intervention!!

Especially during the pandemic, Telehealth is so important to those who live remote or are locked down. People are also struggling financially Telehealth should be made available with Medicare.

Tough enough for people in remote areas to access good health services Telehealth calls would alleviate pressure and prescriptions can now be sent via an app

Menopause treatment shouldn’t be the black box that it is!

Government needs to consistently find ways to deliver better outcomes at lowest cost. Telehealth is accepted as a relatively low cost method of delivery. Women’s health is complex and anecdotal evidence strongly suggests that not all practitioners are effective in this field. There is little downside to supporting this proposal.

Living in a regional area I strongly agree that Medicare rebates should be paid on Wellefemmes Telehealth service!

We deserve to be able to choose our treating drs and gain a Medicare rebate. We pay a Medicare levy for this.

Women need to access treatments for hormone Heath by doctors who are trained in this area. Regular gps are just not knowledgeable enough & women are suffering. The cost should be Medicare rebated so it’s affordable to all women. A 5 min consult from a regular gp to be prescribed antidepressants for a women’s Heath issues relating to hormones just isn’t cutting it.
