Indiana Governor Mike Pence on Thursday signed into law
a controversial religious freedom bill that could allow businesses and
individuals to deny services to gays, in a move that prompted protests from
some business leaders.
Indiana Gov. Mike Pence defended the new
state law that's garnered widespread criticism over concerns it could foster
discrimination and said Sunday it wasn't a mistake to have enacted it.
Let’s sign this petition and and let's tell the
governor that we won't stand for hate. If he's not willing to cancel this law.
Let’s send him a message to add a few changes or add a section that protects us
in LGBT community from discrimination.
Hopefully the backlash Indiana is receiving will continue to cause other states to not enact anti-LGBT legislation.
