Stop gerrymandering districts in Virginia please! Give voters equal access to choosing leaders fairly that represent the population where they live.

Please convene a special legislative session to examine the inequities of gerrymandering in our state.

I have been asking my Delegate and Senator to vote to create a nonpartisan commission to create fair districts, but my Delegate has not been able to cast a vote due to the actions by the House Subcommittee. It is unfair to the citizens of this state that a small subcommittee is effectively choosing their elected officials by gerrymandering their districts. Let's get past this legislative roadblock NOW!

Gerrymandering is killing our democracy, and it's disgraceful that bipartisan efforts have been shot down due to partisan politics. This is of utmost importance.

It is time to show voters that you and the Virginia legislature are serious about redistricting reform. Gerrymandering has gone on far too long in the commonwealth and we deserve better. Please take action.

Establish a non-partisan commission! The foxes are guarding the henhouse. We need an independent review and establishment of new voting districts. The gerrymandering has to stop.

The current process of deciding on districts is political, not democratic. It needs to be handled by a truly independent body, if that in itself is possible. The Party in power being able to decide on what the districts are is an effort to stead Democracy from this Country, not enhancing it. Shameful, it is.
