Governor McAuliffe -- Virginia Needs Redistricting Reform!

This is vital. It is way past time for an independent, non-partisan commission to create fair districts. I want to see a recorded vote on gerrymandering. Mark Cole has consistently tabled redistricting proposals as Chairman of The House Privileges and Election Committee. It comes down to a choice between Democracy in Virginia or Job Security for Cole and partners. It is in your power to call a special session and encourage transparency. Thank you for all you do for our State.

Please help us do something about gerrymandering--my polling place and district have changed several times, even though I have remained in the same zip code. My district is a WEIRD shape.

Governor McAuliffe, Please call a special session of the legislature and submit redistricting legislation to our representatives in Richmond. The fact that these bipartisan efforts have been killed in committee before making it to the floor for a vote has given representatives a shield from the scrutiny of their constituents.
