Governor McAuliffe -- Virginia Needs Redistricting Reform!

Redistricting is the first step in putting statesmen (not politicians) in office.

Thank you for your intention to represent all citizens of our Commonwealth/common wealth in all matters @ all times. Where do your attentions lay❓

Surely you know that gerrymandering is the primary obstacle in turning the tide of political obstructionism. Use your power and influence to make a difference if you value your legacy and potential future aspirations as a Democrat.

I do not understand your insistence upon moving forward with doomed fossil fuels (pipelines)... in a state with boundless, unspoiled beauty. We could, and should... do much better. We could be the east cost trendsetter in sustainable energy. But, I digress from the planned intention. If districting in Virginia... or, any state of the Union isn't made fair, we all go down.

I strongly feel gerrymandering is preventing our democracy from functioning as it was meant to.

I would expect you to be supporting this effort already.

Gerrymandering is the place to start election reform at the state and national levels.

Gerrymandering is the first of two pillars of our dysfunctional governments, the second being corporate/wealthy donor financing of campaigns. End government corruption!

This is the biggest threat to democracy. To get back to common sense government with the ability to find compromise we have to fix this now. VA should lead the way

I've been gerrymandered into Bob Goodlatte and Morgan Griffith for so long I don't remember what freedom fries taste like.

We need redistributing reform

Please support this step toward democracy

Every voter should feel like their vote makes a difference. Gerrymandering allows legislators to pick their voters instead of the voters choosing the person they want to represent them. This is not a true democracy. Please take action before you leave office.
